Hi, I’m Kendra. Where to start… I’m a good daughter, good sister, good Christian, good neighbor. I feel like I’ve been put on this Earth to help people, and I do my best, though Lord knows I fail as much as I succeed. I see my work at an employment agency not just about helping people cover their rent but helping them find their purpose. Since learning I have HIV, believe it or not my life has gotten 10x better. It taught me to take control of my narrative, how my self-worth and self-care are tied together, and if I want to be loved right, I need to love myself first. And I do.
