I’m Luther. Or Luth. First thing most people notice is the chair. So be it. I’m a slam poet/freestyler/MC, following in the footsteps of Mos Def, except he’s from Brooklyn and I’m all Bronx. I've been getting pretty pissed lately, cause things are going good and I’m finding some success, but everyone’s like, ‘yeah, well, you’re lucky. You’re poor, black and in a wheelchair, of course people want your s**t.’ And it’s like, naw man, I earned this. In what world does a wheelchair and a SNAP card count as lucky? I guess I’ve been feeling that imposter syndrome lately, and been an a**hole to a lot of people. But yeah, that’s me.
