Hola, me llamo Sandra. I moved here from Guatemala when I was a girl, my English is still just so-so. I’m a DREAMER, so I never know what’s going to happen… My husband Javier, el solía pegarme, so I had to leave. Se que es estúpido, pero I’m still trying not to blame myself. My baby, Sofia, is two and a half and I’m on my own, y es muy difícil. We had a restaurant, but it closed during covid. I’ve been working in a daycare because it means I can bring Sofia with me, porque yo no sé mi propósito. It’s like the world moved on, and I just got left behind.
